The Black Leadership Circle is committed to fostering civic engagement and advocating for legislative issues and reforms that advance the well-being and progress of the Black community. It aims to interact meaningfully with officials at every level of decision-making to serve as a resource in effecting positive change.
It will amplify the collective and aligned voice of Black leaders, making it stronger and more influential, giving it a seat at the table to lend its concerns and thought partnership to Maryland’s civic leaders, and increasing the likelihood of effecting meaningful change in addressing systemic issues affecting policies, practices, and cultures in the community, in workplaces, and on a broader societal level.
